On October 10, 2024, Renewable Power Caribbean Limited's SET Initiative Tour 3 made a significant impact on the students at Tranquillity Secondary School. The event, hosted at the Tranquility Methodist Church, brought together a diverse group of students, including Form 4, 5, and 6 students, Electrical Students, and members of the Rotary Interact Club.
The students demonstrated a keen interest in understanding the practical applications of renewable energy in both residential and commercial settings. Many expressed a desire to explore career opportunities in the renewable energy sector, recognizing its growing importance and potential for positive environmental impact.
One of the highlights of the tour was the students' fascination with energy-efficient strategies. This interest led to a collective desire to establish a Sustainability Club within their school.
