Renewable Power Caribbean Limited (RPC) is a pioneer in sustainable energy solutions, dedicated to accelerating the Caribbean's transition to a cleaner, greener future. We're committed to increasing the region's renewable energy capacity, reducing our carbon footprint, and promoting environmental stewardship.

Since our establishment in 2022, we've successfully designed and installed over 850 kW of solar system, demonstrating our expertise in providing reliable and efficient renewable energy solutions. By partnering with organizations across the Caribbean, we're helping to achieve their sustainability goals, mitigate climate change, and create a more resilient and equitable energy landscape.

Carbon Footprint Reduction

We are committed to driving a carbon-neutral future through our operations and innovative solutions. We're dedicated to reducing our environmental footprint, promoting sustainable practices, and contributing to a healthier planet.
At our Cunupia office, we've implemented solar-powered lighting and an indoor hydroponics system, demonstrating our commitment to efficient energy use and renewable technologies. By 2026, our entire fleet will only consist of electric vehicles (EVs), hybrids, and compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles, further reducing our carbon emissions.
To support the wider community's transition to electric vehicles, we're investing in a solar-powered EV charging station at our Cunupia office, which will be accessible to the public by the end of 2025. This initiative aligns with our goal of fostering a sustainable and equitable energy future for all.

Water Conservation

RPC is committed to sustainable practices and responsible resource management. We believe that water conservation is essential for preserving our environment and ensuring a sustainable future.
Our operations incorporate water-saving measures to minimize our environmental impact. Additionally, we're integrating water conservation into our services through innovative agrivoltaics systems, combining solar power generation with agricultural practices. By utilizing technology-based and water-efficient agriculture methods like hydroponics, we're optimizing resource use and promoting sustainable food production.

Waste Management

Community Engagement

Renewable Power Caribbean Limited is committed to fostering strong relationships with local communities and supporting sustainable development initiatives. We have embarked on a School Educational Tour (SET) initiative for the academic year 2024/2025 which aims to educate the next generation about renewable energy and its role in creating a sustainable future. By engaging with 20 secondary schools and 15 primary schools across Trinidad and Tobago, we are empowering young people to become environmental stewards and advocates for clean energy. The School Educational Tour (SET) Initiative will continue into the 2025/2026 academic year, reaching even more schools and students across Trinidad and Tobago.

Collaboration for a Sustainable Future

Through partnerships with NGOs, organizations, and environmental/ sustainability clubs, we are actively involved in clean-up campaigns, annual reforestation projects, and other initiatives that contribute to a healthier planet. Health and Safety

RPC is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all employees. This commitment is reflected in our comprehensive health and safety training, annual HSE orientation program, and robust HSE management system.
All staff are trained in relevant health and safety training. This ensures that employees have the knowledge and skills to prevent accidents and respond effectively to emergencies. Our annual HSE orientation program is scheduled with staff to reinforce health and safety awareness and promote a culture of safety. These programs cover a variety of topics, such as hazard identification, risk assessment, and emergency procedures.
The organization has developed a robust HSE management system that is aligned with international standards, ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 and local legislations. This system provides a framework for managing health and safety risks and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Renewable Power Caribbean Limited is committed to continuous improvement in health and safety performance. The company plans to become STOW certified in 2025. This certification will demonstrate our commitment to excellence in health and safety management.
